Free, with premium on top
Égide is free to obtain and free to install. The protections that save a device left unattended never stop and are never billed. The remote wipe and the fastest watchdogs form a premium layer, on credit, on a separate service.
Free, with no expiry
This core is active from installation onwards and stays that way, whether or not you ever pay Égide anything.
- Wipe after several wrong unlock codes, even if the phone has no network at all.
- Wipe after a prolonged lock: a phone left switched on that never comes back to you ends up wiping itself.
- Tamper resistance: stripping Égide of its rights or trying to neutralise it triggers the wipe.
- Your choice of mode, a targeted wipe of the sensitive space or a full wipe of the device.
- Optional camouflage, if you decide to turn it on.
- Signed security updates, delivered over Tor.
None of these protections switch off when credit runs out. That is a design rule, not a launch offer.
Premium, on credit
A premium credit, with no automatic renewal: you top up when you decide to, the credit counts down, and nothing is ever charged to you by itself.
- Remote wipe: you order the wipe from anywhere, by SMS from a phone, or over Tor from a computer.
- The wipe in case of aeroplane mode or loss of network: beyond the delay you set, the phone decides on its own, with nothing sent to it.
Every device starts with 30 days of full premium. After that, Égide falls back to the free core: nothing is triggered automatically, nothing is charged to you.

What happens when premium stops
- The free protections carry on without interruption. A phone is never left defenceless because credit ran out.
- Only the premium options above stop triggering a wipe.

Topping up premium
Top-ups happen on a separate service, the top-up portal. This site takes no payment and holds no account.
We keep no connection records. Your internet provider, however, can see that you visited the site: what is visible is the visit, never the payment, and nothing links an IP address to an account. To hide the visit itself, use a VPN or Tor.
These same durations and prices apply in the application and on the top-up portal, at the moment you choose.

Égide is not for sale: installing it is free and open. Some protections are part of a premium service.
